Out and About with ACSKC
The Animal Care Shelter for Kent County participates in and hosts events throughout the year that support animal welfare and strengthen our community connections. From adoption events and fundraisers to local festivals and outreach opportunities, each appearance allows us to share our mission, connect with supporters, and advocate for the animals in our care. We look forward to seeing you out in the community.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
Shelter Slumber Pawty
April 18 | Begins at 12 PM | Animal Care Shelter for Kent County
Join us for our first-ever Shelter Slumber Pawty, an overnight fundraising event benefiting the homeless animals at The Animal Care Shelter for Kent County. Participants will spend the night at the shelter alongside our animals while raising critical funds and awareness to support their care and help them find loving homes.
This special event is part of a global movement helping shelters across the country give their animals a voice. Throughout the night, participants will share their experience and advocate for the pets who spend every night waiting for families of their own.

If you are interested in having ACSKC involved in your event, please contact Hailey Hickman, Marketing and Development Coordinator, at hhickman@acskc.org or 410-778-3648 ext. 1008 to discuss the details.
