Pet Reclaim Information

Reuniting Pets with their People

If your pet has found themself at our shelter, please take the following steps:

Whether you saw your pet posted to our Facebook page or you believe they may be at our shelter, give us a call at 410-778-3648 to confirm they’re with us.

Pets can be reclaimed during regular business hours: Tuesday through Saturday from 11am until 4pm.

When you’re on your way to reclaim your pet, please bring a leash or cat carrier and proof of current rabies vaccination. If your pet is not up to date on their vaccines, you will have two weeks to provide proof that the vaccine was given.

The owner or designated agent must provide identification such as a valid driver’s license.

Fees may apply to reclaim your pet, including a $25 fee for microchip if your pet does not already have one.

Stray animals become shelter property and are adoptable to the general public if not reclaimed within 7 days.

Please call 410-778-3648 if you have questions.
