Did you know making a difference can be as easy as making a cup of coffee? Here are four ways your can support our animals just by completing the activities you already do every day!

Go for a walk
Raise money every time you take a stroll—with or without a dog! Just download the free WoofTrax app and start walking! To set ACSKC as your preferred charity, select Animal Charity from the menu and enter “The Humane Society of Kent County Chestertown Maryland” in the search bar.

Buy groceries
With Redner’s Save-A-Tape Program, a percentage of your grocery receipt is donated to us! Visit a Redner’s Customer Service area to request a Save-A-Tape card, then start saving your receipts. Receipts may be mailed to the shelter or dropped off during business hours, and we’ll handle the rest!

Drink coffee
Whether you like your caffeine light or dark, hot or iced, whole bean, ground or in pods, Grounds & Hounds has you covered! 10% of your Grounds & Hounds order goes to our pets when you use our shelter’s promo link. (Tip: bookmark this URL for future purchases to ensure your donation comes to us!)

Recycle
Do good for the planet AND our pets! CreaFill Fibers Corp takes your cardboard and paper and turns them into donations! So the next time you receive a stack of packages, or are cleaning out old documents, take those empty boxes and outdated pages to CreaFill—they’re next door to our shelter!
