Join us Friday, May 12th at 12PM for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony! As Kent County’s only animal shelter, we are thrilled to present the community with a brand new facility: 0ne that is safer, healthier and provides a less-stressful environment for our pets and our people.
Following the ceremony, we invite you to tour our shelter. Experience our Outdoor Catios, Turfed Play Yards, Medical Suite and more! We will also have information on how you can get involved in our Volunteer and Foster Programs. Finally, we will unveil our Brick Patio. This honor and memorial opportunity began last year in an effort to raise funds for our new facility, but you can still give this legacy gift for a friend, family member or beloved pet! The Open House will run from 12:30PM to 3:00PM.
The event is free to attend! For the health and safety of our animals, we ask that you please leave your pets at home. Adoptions and Meet & Greets will not be conducted, however, we will have adoption applications available should a furry friend catch your eye!
